Well ... I see this one, looks to be direct, not via list. I'm guessing a BCC: michael.paoli(a)berkeley.edu or the like, as I'm not otherwise seeing one of my addresses in the headers. And did land in the "Spam" folder for that mailbox (which is hosted by gmail ... it's only semi-smart about these things). Gmail mostly accepts (almost) everything ... fairly permissive ... though it will SMTP reject some things. And what it does accept, much is place in user's Spam rather than Inbox, and probably some fair bit is also silently discarded. I don't think it made it to balug-test(a)lists.balug.org list. Mailman may likely have silently dropped it with or the like. I think if you do that and the account is subscribed, then it will handle post from any of them as if it was from that same account. Not sure if I've (fully) tested that, though. Can also be done the "old fashioned" Mailman 2 way too. E.g. subscribe multiple email addresses. Then just configure to disable delivery on those one doesn't want it to (also) send to. Yeah, if $hyperkitty_url is expanded, e.g. in footer when message isn't archived, e.g. header has: X-Archive: no then $hyperkitty_url is still substituted, e.g.: https://lists.balug.org/mailman3/hyperkitty/list/balug-test@lists.balug.org… Even though not archived and that URL gives 404 Not Found $ curl -s -I \ > 'https://lists.balug.org/mailman3/hyperkitty/list/balug-test@lists.balug.org…' | > head -n 1 | tr -d '\015' HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found $ So, it essentially gives the URL of where it would be archived if it were archived, even when it's not archived at all.

So, looks like the web interface is back up again (reinstalled the mailman3-web python3-mailman-hyperkitty packages even though they were already installed, that seemed to suffice) ... but ... was that earlier message archived, and will this one be archived?
